They have a full bar menu and a nice selection of beers and wines by the glass. We waited a short time for a table and were seated in the main dining room, which had a very appealing atmosphere. Take out orders were streaming out the door at a constant clip. But upon arrival on on a Friday night at 8: 00 we realized that many others already knew the secret of Red Snapper’s awesomeness! It was packed with diners, which is unusual for even the best Chinese restaurants. I also think that the name of the restaurant prevents the casual passerby to know that they serve Chinese and other Asian cuisine. Red Snapper is located in a strip shopping center that is not easily navigated from the main road. I can’t even guess how many times I have driven by this restaurant on my way down Ward Parkway to Target, Trader Joe’s and the movies. Our search for a good Chinese restaurant has finally ended Red Snapper is amazing. Overall, Red Snapper had good food and even though it took so long for our food to come out, it might be worth it to some to check it out. I did finish the whole House Beef plate, but I pushed through to finish. It came with a lot of rice and I almost finished all of the rice. The House Beef was delicious and large enough to share between two people or more. When our food finally came out, the dishes looked good from what everybody ordered. We were not told what the reason was for the long delay, but I heard one of the waitresses told the other table that «it was just one of those nights» which made me believe this was not the first time it happened. I don’t know what was going on in the kitchen, but other tables were also waiting for their food. We waited for our food for over one hour. I removed one star because of this next part otherwise, this would be a solid four star place in my opinion. She told me their House Chicken or Beef ($ 14. I told her yes and she recommend the Kun Pun Shrimp or Beef ($ 15. I asked our waitress what she would recommend and she asked if I liked spicy foods. It had a lot of choices and I didn’t know what to choose or what was good. Their menu was the same as their online menu in case anybody was wondering. We were waiting for most of the group to show up so I studied the menu on what to order. This place was pretty crowded but we were seated in the back side area. The parking lot was small and I had to park in the back of the restaurant. I met up with up with seven others here on a Friday night around 7pm.
